The Prism: How Closet Republic Breaks White Light into Truth

If you look at the visual identity of Closet Republic, everything orbits around the concept of the Prism.

In physics, white light appears uniform, singular, and neutral only because all of its constituent wavelengths are compressed into a single trajectory. But white light is an illusion of uniformity. The moment it passes through a denser medium a prism that false uniformity shatters, revealing the entire, vibrant electromagnetic spectrum that was hiding within it all along.

The normative world acts like white light: it insists on monoculture, compulsory conformity, and the erasure of divergence under the guise of "tradition" or "order". It demands that every individual compress their frequency so the crowd remains unbothered.

Closet Republic is the prism that exposes truth.

When you pass through the doors of this Republic:

  1. Refraction is Not Deviation; It is Truth: We do not believe in flattening people to make them palatable. Every wavelength, every nuance of gender, neurodiversity, and artistic expression, deserves its distinct vector.
  2. The Medium Matters: A prism only works because its internal density forces light to slow down, bend, and differentiate. Closet Republic is that deliberate, protective medium, a space built with enough safety and intentionality that people can stop running and show their true colors.
  3. Full-Spectrum Solidarity: A single band of color cannot make a rainbow. Our technology, our 80/20 welfare distribution, and our cultural satire exist to defend the entire spectrum from the quietest person still in the closet to the most visible person on the frontline.

We are not here to blend into their sterile white beam. We are here to disperse the light until the dark is filled with color.

Nature mode is on. The page looks as if it is seen through a curved prism: near the top and bottom of the screen, and in a circle around your pointer, white softly melts into pastel rainbow colours and other colours take on a gentle tint of their own spectrum. Content in the middle of the screen is not distorted.
